Safety As A Foundation
I believe safety in the body is the foundation of the expansion we all desire.
For most of my life, I thought I felt safe, then I realized, that was my conscious mind that felt that way.
I didn’t realize in my unconscious & my body I held activated attachment systems, unhealed traumas, fear of losing things, things not re-creating, unmet needs, fear, and anxiety that were feeding this.
Then what I realized as I was searching for the “next level” in my business was a place that would bring a feeling of security, safety, a knowingness.
It gave me a sense of control knowing if I could pay all my bills, pay my debt off. I then would feel this safety & security. (And of course is financial freedom amazing, absolutely) but it was a high and low sequence.
The thing is, deep down, I was still activated.
I was searching for this firework feeling in my body, that wasn’t being met. Newsflash, if you don’t recognize the build-up to the grand finale, what’s the point. Often, our healing isn’t a firework feeling, but small transmissions we receive & shifts that make the biggest results.
I realized it wasn’t the income. It was healing unmet needs in my system that I was trying to meet through my business.
Until I could access safety deep in my body, it was hard for me to trust, to surrender, to not judge debts that I had, to let go, to be free, to trust in the ups & the downs, to relax into my purpose on a bigger level.
When we teach our clients how to feel safe in their bodies, they can access their own truth. They can scale their business, life, or whatever it is you are supporting them with more ease & a deeper relaxed energy.
*I also want to recognize the privilege I have as a white woman getting to share about safety in this context*
When we can feel safe, meet our own needs, learn how to co-regulate with others and open our hearts to allowing others to support us in meeting our needs, working our attachment system to feel secure, we can receive, we can allow, and we can re-create from this energy. The expansion we desire in life, love, business, money comes from there.
