Scale From A Foundation Of Ease
My clients know I ask this question a lot.
What foundation do you want to scale from?
So often our businesses are built from an energy of moving away from something. Moving away from a job, pain, and a desire to grow.
There’s a lot of work that goes into building an incredible business foundation + I know for me, there was a lot of efforting in the beginning.
But what if there was nothing to prove?
What if your worthiness wasn’t dependent upon how much you could do, how much you could receive, how much you could achieve?
Our worthiness is inherent.
I know for years I ran after a false sense of validation in thinking if I could just be, do, have more then something would shift. If I could just pay off all my debt, then I would feel safe and secure. If I could just heal this part of me, then I would have the love I desired, if I could just get to this income month, then (insert thing could happen).
When we don’t fully allow ourselves to feel safe in the present, we chase.
We chase external validation unconsciously in our minds and bodies to feel safe.
To be quite honest, most people’s lives and businesses are based on this trauma response. I know for so long, mine was.
Everything in my life was built unconsciously to receive love, to feel enough.
Of course, I didn’t think this with my conscious mind, but my body was unconsciously addicted to achieving, to the next level, to be love-bombed & to receive a pat on the back of “you’re doing a good job.”
Eventually, I knew I didn’t want to scale from the energy of efforting.
I wanted to scale from a foundation of ease, trust, a regulated system, surrender and flow.
Which meant I had to get my energetic system aligned with that first.
So you can ask yourself, which energy do I want to scale from? How can I work to heal and embody that within?
