Embracing ‘No’ and Pursuing Your Dreams

I hate being told no when I desire something. LOL I’m sure my parents can read this and laugh.

I was getting ready to go into the sky lounge since I had time & realized with my new card I didn’t have access, so the lady told me no. I said can I get a day pass? No, so I walked out, purchased the membership on my phone and walked back in lol. I fly a lot so I like the convenience!

When I want something, I work to make it happen. No is a rare thing in my vocabulary (unless it’s healthy boundaries of course, then we honor the no)

I don’t wait or delay. I move and keep momentum behind it. Sometimes I have zero idea how it’s gonna work out or whatever. But I’m always willing to bet on me and my goals and dreams. I deeply embody trust in myself and if I know if it’s supportive of the vision, we doing it.

Now I’m not saying move with something that’s going to stress out your nervous system. But stretching will require discomfort and the cultivation of your trust. It’s a practice of holding yourself and navigating your window of tolerance. Over & Over and OVER again. (Podcast episode dropping later this week with a whole riff on this)

It’s not about “arriving” it’s about becoming.

I’m very intentional with what I do. Why I do it. I’m here for the long game and the sustainability + scalability in business.

Everything I do reflects that and my values.

Stop reaching for the band aids + go for the actual solution.

Be willing to play the long game.

It’s not always gonna be fun and exciting and sexy. Your ego is gonna have some story a lot of the times. Work through the edges and what pops up for you.

You can’t outrun when you know you need to do something. Well you can but it tends to come back around.

A little nuget of business for you.
