My whole life has been a mix of deciding & doing a lot of scary shit.
Before I started kindergarten I decided I had 3 goals: learn to tie my shoes, ride my bike without training wheels, and blow a bubble with bubble gum.
I gave motivational speeches to my barbies on how to become the best barbie they could be.
I moved across the country – several times & quit my full-time job after a year of getting my Master’s Degree.
A lot of people will ask me, so how did you get into this whole online thing? The truth?
It’s always been there.
I just had to decide that it was time to be me.
All of me.
100% me.
The one who didn’t want to play by the typical online “rules”
The one who wanted things in her business to be fun, find an easier way, less steps/burnout, and more celebration.
I had to shift from years of people pleasing to just not giving a f.
I had to let go of the need to be perfecttttttt.
I had to become a match for the thing.
I had to become a match for all the strategies I had learned. Because trust me, I love a good marketing plan but if you aren’t a match for the strategy — I can promise you the “thing” won’t come in.
I had to be her first, before she even appeared.
I create memories in my business.
I create breakthroughs in my business.
Clients that turn into friendships.
Photoshoots for launches that allow me to document my life.
Celebrations that make for incredible stories.
Could I do this/that/the other thing with my biz. Sure.
Do I know how to do the things? Sure.
Will I do (insert thing) when I want to, yes.
But only when it feels good.
