…I beg to fucking differ.
I don’t really understand why the advice to keep coaches under-educated even took off in the first place, but I have lots of thoughts on it.
I’m a little bit of a certification hoe.
I’m a Master Trainer of NLP, Clinical Hypnotherapy, TIME Techniques, EFT, and also a Success & Life Coaching.
That’s over 1000 hours of study for those certifications alone… + there’s more
- Certified Breathwork Facilitator
- Reiki Master Teacher
- Adult Attachment Repair Model Therapist
- 4 years studying as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in Training
- 2 years studying in an Energy Medicine School
Like I told you. Cert hoe.
it’s unbelievable to me that in an industry that is already unregulated, content is created to convince coaches that they should focus less on their education + skill.
But that’s what happens when our jobs have no rules, just vibes.
Getting started without a cert is one thing.
You’re building a business because you’re a woman with grit and determination… you’re doing what you’ve gotta do which is exactly how I make ALL of my decisions.
I certainly admire that quality.
But let’s stop pretending that advice + life experience is enough to provide a powerful, safe transformation.
All of the coaching + healing modalities + techniques I listed in this carousel add up to thousands + thousands of hours and years + years of study, practice, and teaching.
Out of anyone I know, I walk my talk.
I’m tired of reading content about not needing coaching certifications to run a coaching business.
Do you need one legally? No.
Should your education and skill be a TOP PRIORITY if you’re going to be helping humans with their thoughts, beliefs, fears, desires…?
UM…YES.
The fact that this is even a question is 🤯🥴
